Safe travels, Heather.
Some amazing shots there, Heather.
undeniably the most beautiful people ever created.
as I lookedat your pictures my eyes filled with tears. such beautiful people. Something in my soul, my heart wants to touch those people. Be with them, know them.I pray you arrive home safe and sound.
Wow! Incredible photos. One thing I found very interesting in Ethiopia was the number of people who did not want their photos taken. When I asked why, they refered to those pictures of starving Ethiopians that were everywhere for a while. They felt as if they were mis-portrayed and that was the image of Ethiopians that the world had. I'd be interested if you ran into any level of mistrust at being photographed.
I'm back again. There's a story on www.npr.org about the fistula hospital in Addis and about child brides. Thought you might be interested.
Welcome back Heather.I must hear the stories behind these faces. The girl in the green, I just continue to stare into to those eyes.Stay warm
I completely agree with Hope..The girl in green speaks volumes with her eyes. Who is she?
These photos show Ethiopians to be some of the most beautiful people. Ancient and yet contemporary. Such soulful expressions. Simply lovely.
Amazing photos. They really tell a story.I hope you made it back to our 'home and native land' OK.
Beautiful pictures. Travel safely.
