My sentiments exactly!
Yeah, it's tough to strike a fine balance. I'm sure we all give gifts and wish to continue, but the number and expense seems to be a point of pride with some.
Now that just makes me want to *debate*, as a person whose love language is gift giving!
Yeah, AP, I'd have to say I see both sides of that coin. I don't necessarily think gift giving goes against His teachings. But, materialism probably does.
There's nothing wrong with gift giving, but there's something wrong with excess.
