Just one glimpse

Do you ever stop and stare at the art on your window pane?

The endless variety?

The symmetry? The precision?

The delicate brush strokes mixed with bold connecting lines?

The way the sunlight changes each piece at different times of the day?

The bold and unorthodox lines? Sometimes balanced, sometimes not?

The soft edges mixed with dazzling sparkle?

The playfulness of the artist's dancing brush strokes?

Some days, the best you can hope for is just one glimpse of beauty in the middle of the messiness.

Gorgeous! True masterpieces right outside your window.

Really lovely Heather - in CA I can't get such photos! So I love seeing yours and I especially love how you collaged them with the words, just so. And your message is elegantly delivered.

All I can say is WOW! I have a whole new appreciation for snow crystals, at least from the warm "inside" looking out. You captured their variety beautifully in your photography.

Wow. Thank you. I'm often amazed by them, but have never thought of photographing it. Just lovely.

We'll probably see some of that when we get to the cottage later this month.

Is it any wonder that we're given to creativity when the Creator gives us THAT?

I need to curse winter less and see it for what it offers.

Frost on the window/ is never the same / so many patterns/ fit in the frame / captured in motion/ frozen in flame / and in the patterns / is there a name? / Why do we hunger for Beauty?
