We went out for lunch today to celebrate the birthday of our receptionist, a university student who's working here for her summer job. She just turned 20.
After lunch, it occurred to me that I am wearing a skirt that I got when she was about 2 years old.
Either I'm old, or I keep my clothes too long. Or both.

You just learned the 3Rs sooner than most! (reduce, reuse, recycle) I totally approve (she said, in the same Teva sandals she bought in 1997).
PS Don't stop blogging.
I have tons of clothes that are well over 20 years old. I hate clothes shopping and I also develop sentimental attachments to certain articles, especially t-shirts.
I hope you keep blogging. If Gina quits and you quit and Hope never updates, that's about 2/3 of my whole blog roll!
Too funny!
as long as it's a favourite.
I have clothes older than me (because I lie about my age)
I say, good clothes are hard to find.. if you love it.. keep it. :-)
Heather, you REALLY made me laugh with that one. I'm in exactly the same situation.
Don't remember if I ever blogged about this or not...but my favorite comment from a 20-something student, in one of my classes, was when she asked me what a Telex was.
Oh well...
Janet
