Wish I had been able to give those to my kids. Dan, especially. I hope they discover "roots" and "wings" for themselves.

What a terrific photo -- and isn't she the cutest little girl EVER?
And the quotes are excellent reminders. Even those of us without children need to keep that part of us alive as well. We never know when it will come in handy, even living a "grown up's" life.
