What a great photo. I know it is little solace to have just pictures and not the person, but that must conjure up some wonderful memories.

There's something quite sad yet hopeful in the juxtaposition of young and old. What a beautiful picture, and one that honours your father's memory. He lives on in the hearts and minds of those who loved him.
